Patricia (Brhel) Heil, 88, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Marion, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Per Pat s wishes there will be no services or visitation. Her body has been donated to the University of Iowa for anatomical research. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, daxom Marion.
Pat was born Aug. 22, 1924, in Stillwater, Minn., the daughter of George and Alice (McGinn) Brhel. She married Dale L. Heil on Aug. 28, 1945 in Marshalltown. Pat worked as a registered nurse for most of her life, retiring in 1980.
